My basketball story

My Biography

I was born 1985. in Belgrade, Serbia. After a short playing career, I started a coaching job at less than 19 years old. My first team was on​e of the two biggest Serbian clubs, Red Star Belgrade. In three years there, I learned a lot, grew up as a coach and prepared myself for the pro level.

In December 2007. I moved to the club named Beovuk 72. Team with great tradition, multiple National Champions in youths, a team with several ​NBA, Serbian National Team, Euroleague players & coaches. In a short period, I got a chance to become the head coach of the senior team. At that time, I had less than 24 years. During nine years in Beovuk, I worked as a coach, but also last three seasons I was part of the management, as director of young categories and sports director in the season when the club was promoted to KLS league. 

As an expert in the field of video analysis, 2014. I made IBC Scout, service for the promotion of basketball players & coaches, which soon grew into a scouting agency that is now one of the strongest mid-level agencies in Europe. 

In December 2016. I become sports director of the club named BASK, the oldest basketball team in Belgrade (founded in 1942). In the first season, we promoted the team to a higher rank.    

Season 2017-18 brought me a chance to start an international career, as assistant coach in the Russian Superleague team Spartak Primorye. This was one of the best seasons in the history of the club and we won 3rd National Championship title.

After success in Russia, new challenges came from China. During season 2018-19 I worked in Shandong Basketball Association as head coach of the 3x3 team and with the NBL team Beijing Bucks. Also, 2019. is important for me, because I started a new project, named Creative Sport Solutions.    

In the seasons 2019-20 & 2020-21 I coached my old team Beovuk and from 2021. I started my​ German journey in the BBL team Heidelberg and the Pro-A team Giessen 46ers, with which I ​reached playoffs in the seasons 2022-23 & 2023-24.
